The Gilbert Block Building in Seaside proclaims to have the largest BEAVER themed art show in the world!

174 works of Beaver  themed art. 100 Oregon artists.

Limited art depicting beaver and their wetland and stream habitats. Our beaver art exhibit is a fun way to celebrate beaver, wetlands and Oregon artists. Artwork of all kinds; photographs, paintings, prints, cards, quilts, etc. depict the beaver and wetland habitat. They are in any style – realistic, abstract, whimsical, collage, etc. Three-dimensional pieces are of ceramic, wood, fiber art, or other media. A percentage of the sale of the artwork will support various wetland conservation partners who are working on beaver and wetland conservation, restoration and education in Oregon.

Side note: Although there is an art collector in Oregon, who may have the largest beaver themed art collection with more than 300 works of Beaver art. The art collector purchased seven of the beaver themed art from the traveling  BEAVER TALES Art Sale and Exhibition at OSU and gladly shared this fact!

Last call: Necanicum Watershed Council and North Coast Land Conservancy and The Wetlands Conservancy, present Beaver Tales –
To celebrate beavers and their contribution to the ecology of the North Coast, the nonprofit organizations have teamed up with local businesses to host the Beaver Tales Art Exhibit and Sale in Seaside.

The purpose of the exhibit is to highlight the importance of beavers in creating wetlands and other aquatic habitat.
